Originally from Beirut and based in Washington DC, Mark Azar has built a decade-long presence at the intersection of underground house music and global influences, carving a reputation as one of DC's true selectors. His sound is rooted in deep and groovy house, warm and rhythmically sophisticated, with a feel-first approach to DJing: sets that breathe, build, and move between soulful and euphoric to dark and driving without losing the thread.

A resident DJ at Nü Androids, Managing Partner of DC nightclub Tigres de la Noche, and curator of the disco-forward house event series Discoteca, Mark is embedded in DC's dance music infrastructure as both a performer and an architect of its nightlife. Whether in intimate venues or on festival stages, his performances showcase an instinctive ability to read a crowd, always anchored in the essentials of house music, always calibrated to the room.

Since 2014, with over 500 performances, he has shared stages with Black Coffee, Adriatique, Eli Brown, Gordo, Dennis Cruz, Maz (BR), Rossi., Obskür, &friends, Arodes, Matroda, Liva K, Fedde Le Grand, Acraze, Noizu, Louis the Child, Amine K, Chapter & Verse, Shouse, Mark Knight, Dennis Ferrer, Shermanology, Ankhoi, Black Circle, Moon Boots, Luch, Levi, Paige, Joe Maz, Breaka, Caleb Dent, and Dre Mendez.

Now extending his focus into the studio, Mark produces groovy house music built on soulful foundations, translating the same organic energy that defines his sets into original work. His Lebanese roots and transatlantic perspective inform a musical voice that is distinctly his own.
